Custom House Square

This involved the removal of two existing passenger and the fitting of two new 1150kg electric traction machine room lifts.  The lifts we fitted out in black walnut, with black LED spot lit ceiling and was prepared for the customers own bespoke flooring to match the rest of the flooring in the building.  Our bespoke design allowed both lift cars to be increased in size with larger doors without having to increase the shaft size.

In addition to the passenger lifts we also fitted our low rise Unaporte Steplift with black painted finish and glass doors and sides.  The Unpaorte fits seamlessly into the buildings interior design.

SSE Arena

This involved the removal of four existing evacuation hydraulic passenger lifts and the fitting of four new 1000kg structure supported evacuation electric traction machine room lifts.  In this instance we were responsible for the complete project including site management, safety hoardings, all enabling works and builders works.  The lifts were fitted our in our finishes of back painted glass lift car walls, anti slip flooring and LED lighting.  The complete project was completed within the agreed time frames with the client with care taken to ensure minimal downtime and customer inconvenience.

Costa Coffee, Sprucefield

In this instance we fitted our Hybrid Access Passenger Lift and a small 50kg goods lift. Our Hybrid lift is perfect for buildings where the client needs to maximise space. It looks and operates in the same way as a full commercial passenger lift but only requires a shaft of 1550mm wide X 1770mm deep with a pit of 150mm. The small goods lift was fitted with a full stainless steel car and landing doors and comes with its own self-supporting lift shaft.

Limavady Stairlift

Stannah 260 Siena spiral installation.

A gentleman from Limavady contacted us as he and his wife were struggling to walk up and down the stairs.

When I arrived to assess, I noticed that the stairs were spiral in shape and ornately detailed. I suggested an inner bend configuration. This would enable them to embark/ disembark from the chair away from the stairs.

The staircase has black wrought iron spindles, and I mentioned the option of having the stairlift rail painted in black rather than the standard pearl finish. The customer chose this colour along with Cranberry upholstery.

Other options chosen were a powered footplate and XL chair.

As this house has underfloor heating we had the rail designed with a rubber mat beneath the first rail support whilst the others are attached to the staircase.

This lift comes with remote controls as standard, these can be seen in the attached videos.

Our client is delighted with the end result, and was very happy for his home to be used as a case study.

Andras House

Located in the heart of Belfast Andras House required a full lift replacement due to the age and overall condition of the existing lift. The existing shaft was a mixture of block and timber that was unable to withstand the loads of a modern and fast electric traction lift; because of this we installed our full supporting steel structure. Olympic undertook the complete works including asbestos reports, removal of the existing lift and enabling works including electric upgrade and shaft modification – all while the building was fully operational. For the lift interior the client chose our ant-slip vinyl floor, back painted glass walls and black LED spot lighting for the ceiling.

Geminal Holdings

Another lift replacement in the centre of Belfast, our brief was to remove the old outdated existing lift and replace with a larger, faster, modern lift. We were able to tick all the boxes without making the lift shaft any larger and our client now has 150mm wider doors and a DDA compliant lift. Given the age of the lift shaft an Asbestos report was competed before removal and a structural engineer was tasked with ensuring the existing shaft was capable of carrying the loads of a modern lift. This was a full turnkey solution including electrical upgrade, shaft clean down and full decoration of all the landings.
